Not that I need to explain myself, but *gasp* I was on vacation in sunny Florida for a few days. I said I would start a tradition by picking a kit of the day and a kit that should never, ever, ever have been released every Sunday. Well, does every week count? I was going to do one today, but unfortunately, either I am missing something (God, I really hope I am!) or there really isn't a kit good enough in the DST designer announcements section to qualify for Kit of the Day.
I did, however, find a: How the Hell did THIS get released? Okay, I am going to give this designer the benefit of the doubt and say that she just had laskik eye surgery and couldn't see very well when she was designing, or maybe she needs a new monitor? Something. Cause I don't think she saw what I'm seeing when she decided, "Hey, this looks great! Time to put it up for sale!" (For $5.00 no less!)

Not a fantastic kit, people should really practice their skills. I mean, what makes them think they can sell that? I wouldnt even download it as a freebie.

well.. I've just recently found these "smack" blogs and I think they are pretty interesting myself. lol I don't know what all the "crap" from the designers bitching about these are all about really. I am a designer and not in a store at the moment..but I know for SURE that you can't please everyone.
I don't know why some of these people just don't take some of this as constructive criticism. SOmetimes it hurts to hear the truth BUT this is a business where the beauty is with the eye of the beholder. People are just expressing their opinions and you can take it or leave it. I don't think there needs to be "personal" attacks on people at ALL and the "threats" are downright disgusting and juvenile.
Now with that said ! lol I CANNOT BELIEVE some of the utter CRAP for sale ! Some of it is SO bad that I think my daughter who is a pre-teen could do a better job ! Some of these so-called "stores" out there REALLY REALLY need to have some higher standards because I know that if most of the stuff I look like looks like total shit.. I leave the WHOLE store ! It won't matter if you have 5 other great designers...because if I keep seeing the garbage from the crappy designers I leave the store and don't browse it anymore.
Definitely hideous.

That kit is horrible, and as an aside that designer no longer sells at the listed store - they got rid of her a long time ago.
